De Tar Healthcare System is seeking to employ a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician in the welcoming and vibrant community of Victoria, Texas, which is only 2 hours from Houston, TX!
Position Highlights:
- 100% outpatient primary care

- Treating ages 18 to geriatric patients
- No OB is available
- Access to a full range of specialists within the healthcare systems
- New grads are encouraged to apply

- High-volume patient panel
- Share phone-only call schedule
- 4-day work week option available
- Ability to speak Spanish is a plus!
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible and have completed U.S. residency training
- No visa support available at this location

DeTar Hospital Navarro is a 189-bed acute care hospital serving Victoria and the surrounding seven-county region in South Texas. Accredited by The Joint Commission, the hospital offers emergency and trauma services, inpatient and outpatient care, surgical services, women's and children's services, diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, sleep medicine, occupational medicine, and specialty clinics. DeTar Hospital Navarro is a key regional healthcare resource within the Texas Crossroads.
CommunityVictoria, known as the South Texas Crossroads , is one of the oldest cities in Texas and serves as a cultural, economic, and healthcare hub for the surrounding region. Located within two hours of Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and Corpus Christi-and approximately 30 minutes from the Gulf Coast-Victoria offers residents a balance of city amenities and natural beauty.
