Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Associate in Phoenix, AZ. Duties Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support transaction preparation and strategy. Draft well-reasoned legal documents, including memos and contracts. Assist in managing complex transactions from inception to resolution. Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing timely support and advice. Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative transaction strategies. Participate in high-level legal activities, including client meetings and negotiations. Ensure compliance with legal standards and stay updated on legal precedents. Engage in professional development to enhance legal knowledge and skills. Contribute to firm programs, civic organizations, and pro bono work. Requirements 3 years of corporate experience. Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues. Produce timely, accurate, and quality work products. Manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment. Education JD degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Admitted to practice in the state of Arizona. Skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
