Sr SQ Mgr Proactive Supplier Development

Senior Manager role within Johnson & Johnson's DePuy Synthes Supplier Quality organization, responsible for developing supplier development strategy, managing supplier performance, and leading proactive risk reduction across the medical device supply base. This individual contributor position influences cross-functional teams and business leaders to strengthen supplier capabilities and improve product quality.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain supplier development strategy, governance model, and risk-based segmentation framework
• Define supplier performance measures, scorecards, and dashboards; analyze trends and recommend interventions
• Lead high-impact supplier improvement and recovery initiatives addressing quality, compliance, and supply risks
• Establish and deploy proactive supplier development methods including technical assessments and capability reviews
• Serve as subject matter expert for supplier quality across DePuy Synthes business units and regions

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of medical device quality systems and regulations (21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485, EU MDR)
• Demonstrated expertise in supplier development, performance management, and risk assessment methodologies
• Proficiency with structured problem-solving, Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis techniques
• Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives in matrix organizations without direct reports
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities with stakeholder engagement skills
• Technical background in process capability, validation, quality systems, and manufacturing operations
