Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Telemetry to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for cardiovascular patients on a fast-paced 49-bed Heart & Vascular Unit.
• Manage care for stable heart and lung transplant patients and those with Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs).
• Utilize and monitor EPIC charting systems effectively for accurate patient documentation.
• Administer cardiac drips and other intravenous medications as required, with expertise.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including CNAs, care techs, and transport teams.
• Be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs across various units.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a large urban hospital setting.
• Proficient in EPIC charting; experience in Traumas Level I preferred.
• Ability to manage complex cardiac telemetry and associated patient care.
• NICOTINE FREE individuals only due to facility policy.
• Prepared to work two out of three major holidays; willingness to cover weekend shifts.
