Financial Analyst

This role involves analysing Direct Material Cost at the product level, evaluating procurement outcomes and overall material cost impact. The analyst will manage IT developments such as PowerBI dashboards and prioritize improvement ideas. Responsibilities Analyse direct material model (both ACT and FCST) Provide analysis for all material cost accounts—NPI scrap, mix impact, FX impact—and explain all variance versus the given baseline (Prior Year, Official Forecast, AOP) for the entire Garrett material cost base Build reports and a database for material cost to analyse cost walk versus prior year, 5+7, 8+4 and AOP, and present findings Manage monthly, quarterly and year‑end accruals (FIFO, parked invoices, inventory revaluation) Prepare monthly risk and opportunity assessments against the baseline and share them with the Core FP&A team Serve as the key contact for inputs to the central FP&A team on Garrett material cost, material productivity, and accounting bookings for controllership Drive standardisation across Garrett entities on material cost accounts and their use in accounting entries Connect material cost results to material margin impact and support resolution of margin anomalies Build a database for material cost used to analyse volume variance and challenge assumptions on material cost Build reporting structures for material cost using PowerBI or other visualization dashboards Manage IT projects within the team and drive improvement ideas Act as the single point of contact for all IT tools and development processes Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting; MBA or CWA is an advantage 3–5years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis and material cost accounting Key Skills Financial analysis, cost accounting, cost management PowerBI dashboard development IT project management #J-18808-Ljbffr
