A bit about us: We are an established civil litigation firm representing insurance companies, businesses, and individuals across a variety of legal matters. Job Details The Intake Paralegal helps ensure incoming matters are organized, documented, and routed appropriately. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys keeping track of details, communicating with multiple people, and following tasks through to completion. Responsibilities Assist with reviewing incoming referrals and gathering information needed to open new matters. Perform conflict checks using established firm procedures. Create and maintain accurate electronic case files. Enter case information and help calendar deadlines under attorney direction. Coordinate with attorneys and staff regarding new assignments and missing documentation. Assist with preparing and processing initial case documents as directed. Track outstanding intake tasks and follow up to keep matters moving.Handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality. Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication. Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow established procedures. Comfort using Microsoft Office and learning new software. Dependability, initiative, and a willingness to learn. Administrative, customer service, or office experience is helpful.
