This cardiothoracic surgery APP assignment focuses on 24-hour call coverage and first-assist responsibilities for complex cardiac and thoracic procedures.

Highlights

Practice & Cases

• Mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiothoracic care
• First assist for CABG, valve, aortic, and thoracic surgeries
• Perioperative management including ICU and step-down rounding
• Adult-only patient population

Schedule

• 24-hour shifts from 7am to 7am
• Monthly block scheduling available
• Coverage includes daytime clinical care and first-call responsibilities
• Ongoing need for 10 to 15 shifts per month

Requirements

• Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Board Certified with cardiothoracic surgery experience
• Active Oregon license required
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA required

• Rental car and mileage reimbursement included
• Airfare covered for assignment travel
