Job ID : 1158016_RR00116666. Position : Supply Distribution Associate – NYU Langone Huntington Medical Group. Position Summary The successful candidate will review inventory, initiate and track orders, receive and inspect shipments, distribute supplies, report damages, maintain daily records, and coordinate with accounts payable and Supply Chain to meet department needs. Job Responsibilities Create and maintain ordering plans for clinical and office supplies. Prepare service purchase orders based on annual spend projections. Process orders for maintenance, repair, and operational items. Create purchase requisitions for the practice. Receive shipments, distribute items to proper storage, and maintain supply closets. Collaborate with Corporate Supply Chain to review sourcing approaches, vendor contracts, and supplier performance. Coordinate routine maintenance and troubleshooting for non-clinical equipment. Perform checks and balances of PeopleSoft data. Maintain inventory and PAR stock locations; keep organized files. Identify routine problems and recommend solutions. Prioritize and expedite workflow using independent judgment. Meet with manager to discuss budget performance and propose future purchases. Develop effective relationships with physicians, staff, and patients. Perform additional duties as assigned. Act as a Brand Ambassador, ensuring consistent patient experience aligned with NYULH Mission. Assist patient access and ensure positive experience in all interactions. Apply LEARN model for service recovery and share improvement ideas. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or higher qualification, including overseeing office activities, administering budgets, and supervising staff. Experience with varied computer hardware and software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to compose and edit clear, detailed correspondence. Knowledge of Center policies, procedures, and medical terminology. Diplomatic and tactful communication with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and peers. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters. Problem‑solving skills and independent work ability with minimal direction. Preferred Qualifications Office environment experience; ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. Effective communication with all organizational levels. Compensation Salary range: $66,300.00 – $87,335.90 annually. Actual compensation depends on factors such as experience, education, and hospital needs.
