Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for ED patients using the nursing process and established standards
- Conduct patient assessments, identify needs, and develop a plan of care in collaboration with the care team
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient response, and adjust care as indicated
- Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and engage in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the medical record; provide patient and family education
- Supervise and delegate tasks to appropriate levels of staff as needed; maintain a safe and healing environment

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice (California)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor (CPR acceptable per policy)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent ER or acute care experience
- Education: BSN preferred; other RN degrees considered
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED setting and meet travel assignment requirements
