Job Title

Job Description: Correcting written work is not profitable: students are graded, but the teacher's feedback is ignored. Audio correction solves this, but requires a change in a century-old professional practice. Your role will be to accompany schools to adopt this virtuous new practice, by supporting them during the sale and deployment. We have raised 1M to accomplish this mission and we need you!

Context

Our clients represent small average baskets: between 500 and 1500 HT. The challenge will be to support around 250 accounts during the sale, deployment, and renewal. We have a volume challenge: supporting clients for whom this is beneficial, and spending little time with our already very active accounts, or those who would not respond well to this new practice.

The founders have structured the sales playbook, based on our different segments: sales via regional catalog (first three months of school year), sales on school funds (last three months of school year), pilot sales during the school year. Logbook generates 150k of replicable revenue in the first year 25/26 the challenge will be to structure the sales pipeline and bring more professionalism to significantly grow this revenue.

You will be the first salesperson (in a team of currently 3 people!), under the responsibility of Benjamin Abdi, who has taken the sales role over the past year. You will be autonomous in your position, and will benefit from the operational support of Benjamin and/or Axelle (CEO) during the busiest sales periods.

The distribution is approximately 2/3 sales or renewal, 1/3 deployment with a collective objective of 1M in sales and renewal for the 26/27 school year.

Missions

• You will accompany teachers to obtain a purchase by their school establishment.

• You will accompany the establishment in the deployment of Logbook, through its representative.

• You will refine the strategy of prioritization of prospects (lead scoring) and account follow-up (health metrics).

• You will collaborate in the definition of product and marketing priorities, with internal clients.

Most exchanges with clients are via video or telephone. On-site training is possible, depending on your location and the needs of the establishments.

You join a very small team: we are 3. There is a lot to build, and depending on the achievement of our objectives and your capabilities, you may be asked to take on responsibilities for the constitution and management of our sales team!

Profile Sought

Required Skills

Given the low average basket, the expected skills are therefore halfway between operational and relationship-based challenges.

• Objective-oriented : prioritize the right actions based on their expected return (ie. signed revenue and renewal rate)

• Rigor : maintain a clean client file that allows for effective follow-ups, post-call tracking, and account reviews.

• Appetite for relationships : half of the work time will consist of video or telephone calls with teachers, school representatives, or academic trainers.

Desired Skills

• Comfort with the digital : efficiency challenges require the automation of many administrative tasks through AI while the main flows will be automated by Benjamin, being comfortable with automation/efficiency gains with the digital will make you more agile and effective. Our current stack is on claude (AI) / allo (telephony) / attio (CRM).

• Experience in education : experience in teaching or in the EdTech sector.
