Reporting to the General Counsel, this person will own the systems, processes, and vendor relationships that keep the legal department running efficiently. This is a high-impact individual contributor role. Our ideal candidate is forward-thinking and actively integrates AI tools into their daily professional routine.Core ResponsibilitiesOwn the legal department's technology stack, including contract lifecycle management (CLM), e-billing, matter management, and document management systemsOwn corporate compliance and entity management, including by interfacing with registered agent to onboard entities and keep them in good standingAssist with outside counsel management including invoice routing and reviewBuild and maintain reporting for legal spend, matter status, and KPIs; present findings to General CounselLead cross-functional projects to improve legal workflow efficiency, including intake, contract routing, and approval processesManage legal holds and coordinate with IT and records management on document retention policyIdentify, evaluate, and onboard legal technology vendors; manage renewals and contract termsCreate and maintain standard operating procedures, playbooks, and training materials for the legal teamEducation RequirementsBachelor's degree required.Technical Skills and ExperienceProven AI literacy, including understanding AI strengths, limitations, and ethical considerations.
