Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, including comprehensive physical exams and medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical issues through the interpretation of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative assistance, ensuring preparation of operating rooms, proper patient positioning, and efficient instrument handoffs during surgeries
• Offer outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound management, discharge plans, and patient education

Educational Background

• Master's degree from a recognized Physician Assistant program
• Experience with clinical rotations that emphasize surgical practice is strongly preferred

Certifications Required

• Active and unencumbered PA-C certification
• Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
