The department offers programs at both the undergraduate and graduate level, including teaching preparation at the Elementary Education and Secondary Education levels, as well as MAT in Reading with a Reading Specialist Endorsement and a Ph.D. in Literacy, Culture, and Language. Our programs are well-established and internationally recognized, and we have strong partnerships with surrounding communities and districts. Minimum Qualifications Master’s Degree in Reading, Education, or a related field. 3 – 5 years of PK12 classroom teaching experience. Willingness to use a web-based learning management system. Familiarity with navigating video conferencing platforms, with the intent to use in some classroom settings. Ph.D. is preferred.
