Role Description The Account Executive role at Relish Catering, LLC is a full-time, on-site position based in Bethesda, MD. In this role, the Account Executive manages client relationships from initial inquiry through event completion, including understanding client needs, preparing proposals, and presenting menu and service options. Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to leads, coordinating event details with the culinary and operations teams, maintaining accurate records of client communications, and ensuring that all event logistics are clearly documented. The Account Executive partners closely with internal staff to confirm timelines, staffing needs, and special requests, while proactively communicating updates and expectations to clients. This role also involves participating in tastings, site visits, and occasional on-site event oversight to support smooth execution and a high level of client satisfaction. Qualifications Experience in account management, sales, or client services, preferably within catering, hospitality, or events. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships. Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, including managing multiple events, timelines, and priorities simultaneously. Comfort working in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment and collaborating closely with culinary, operations, and event teams. Proficiency with basic office and CRM or event-management software; ability to maintain accurate digital records and documentation. Detail-oriented approach to proposals, contracts, and event specifications, ensuring clarity and accuracy for clients and internal teams. Availability to support events as needed, which may include some evenings or weekends based on client and event schedules. Previous catering or hospitality experience and knowledge of food and beverage service are highly beneficial.
