Med/Surg Tele RN - Night & Day Shifts

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30); Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30). Shifts may be variable based on operational needs, with potential rotation between day and night shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Med/Surg Tele RN to provide high-quality patient care at a renowned main campus hospital. The RN will care for a diverse patient population and may float to other units as needed to meet operational demands.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg Tele unit.
• Perform assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care interventions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 18 months combined permanent experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry.
• Active Ohio license or compact state license required.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Recent Med/Surg/Tele experience preferred.
• References from previous supervisors or managers in the same specialty required.
