- Sr. Business AnalystApply**Job#: 3042493****Job Description:**Sr. Business Analyst**Location:** Orange, California (Partial Remote)We are seeking a Sr. Business Analyst to perform business analysis activities with a high level of competence and independence. This role involves supporting best practices and a culture of learning for business analysis. The ideal candidate must not have a majority of experience focused on data-related projects, excessive agile scrum support, or reporting on sprints. Resumes should provide specific descriptions of business analysis deliverables, artifacts, and applied methodologies.Key Responsibilities:* Plan and execute approaches for stakeholder engagement and business analysis governance, including decision-making processes for requirements and designs.* Develop and manage an information management approach for business analysis information.* Conduct elicitation to gather and confirm information relevant to business changes.* Communicate business analysis information to ensure a shared understanding among stakeholders.* Trace and maintain requirements to ensure alignment and consistency throughout the requirements life cycle.* Assess the implications of proposed changes to requirements and designs.* Specify, model, verify, and validate requirements to meet quality standards and business needs.* Define solution design options to achieve the desired future state.* Perform miscellaneous tasks in support of project management or the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Required Qualifications:**Experience:*** At least 5-8 years in a recent senior-level Business Analyst role.* Experience in problem-solving using structured approaches to develop and implement solutions.* Demonstrated ability in creative and conceptual thinking to apply new ideas and synthesize information.* Familiarity with the operational culture of highly regulated industries.* Experience facilitating group discussions and working productively with team members.* Background using software to support the SDLC (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira).**Education:*** High School diploma or equivalent is required.* A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is required.**Skills:*** Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams.* Effective communication skills with the ability to modulate content for various audiences.* Leadership and influence skills for negotiation and conflict resolution.Preferred Qualifications:* Health Insurance industry experience.* Relevant professional Business Analysis Certification(s).* Experience with Requirement Management Software (e.g., JAMA, Rally).* Skills associated with coordination and leadership of business analysts for potential future growth into a Lead Business Analyst role. *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
