Registered Nurse – ICU/CCU/IMCU

Location: Georgia
Job Type: 13-Week Contract
Shift: Days or Nights
Schedule: 36–40 hours per week
Compensation: Competitive rate based on experience and assignment

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for contract opportunities in ICU, CCU, and IMCU settings. The ideal candidate will have strong critical-care experience and be comfortable caring for acutely and critically ill patients in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically and acutely ill patients.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and changes in status.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Monitor patients requiring intensive or intermediate-level care.
• Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and emergency situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Follow hospital policies, safety standards, and infection-control procedures.
• Provide patient and family education and support.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license .
• Recent ICU, CCU, IMCU, or comparable critical-care experience .
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required or preferred based on assignment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Previous acute-care hospital experience preferred
