Registered Nurse - Part-Time

Registered NurseWe are seeking a Registered Nurse responsible for direct care and support for clients with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and/or intellectual and developmental disorders in our psychiatric services department.This position is scheduled during the hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30pm. There are no weekends, on call, or holiday requirements for this position. This assignment is in person at 790 Fuller Ave NE Grand Rapids, Michigan 49503.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Registered Nurse DegreeLicensed to practice as a registered nurse in MichiganKnowledge of biological factors in mental illnessKnowledge and understanding of psychiatric medicationsKnowledge of clinic procedures and practicesKnowledge of State and Federal laws regarding privacy and HIPAAKnowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology in a mental health settingKnowledge and ability to work within the American Nurses' Association Standards of Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing practiceCPR certificationAbility to work independently and make independent judgments and decisions based on professional knowledgeLived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valuedComputer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, database management, data entry, and emailAbility to communicate clearly and concisely with clients and in stressful situationsExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenSpanish/English bilingual preferredNetwork180 is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
