The Life Sciences Executive Underwriter will actively contribute to underwriting efforts in the Life Sciences Sector. This role will require an entrepreneurial mindset, strong technical analysis, robust underwriting acumen, expertise at relationship-building and a strong desire to achieve profitable underwriting results. Key Responsibilities Work in collaboration with US Life Sciences Lead and on a Global Underwriting team Produce, underwrite and manage a profitable book of business Utilize underwriter authority in accordance with the published underwriter guidelines Effectively negotiate and secure policy terms that align with the company guidelines. Qualifications and Experience Ability and willingness to be highly visible in the market and travel as necessary (estimated 25-50%) Strong relationships in both the wholesale and retail market Experience in products and completed operations liability, E&O, General Liability Self-Starter with strong drive to succeed Developed understanding of industry knowledge Comfortable working in an international environment. Compensation and Benefits Base salary range for this position is $170,000–$200,000 plus eligibility for a performance-based annual bonus. Actual compensation will be based on experience, education, and geographic location.
