Here, your skills won't just be used they'll be valued, sharpened, and put on display in work you can truly be proud of.What you'll be doing as a Carpenter:Leading the construction of custom outdoor living projects, including decks, pergolas, and other high-end carpentry featuresManaging projects from blueprint interpretation through final installation with a strong focus on quality and detailPlanning daily job site activities, delegating tasks, and driving productivity to meet timelinesCutting, shaping, and assembling materials with precision to deliver exceptional finished productsEnsuring all work meets company standards, client expectations, and project specificationsMaintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site while enforcing safety protocolsOperating and overseeing the proper use of tools and equipmentManaging materials, including ordering, handling, and storage to minimize waste and maximize efficiencyCommunicating effectively with team members and leadership to keep projects on trackTroubleshooting challenges on-site and making real-time decisions to maintain progress and qualityContributing to project planning, layout, and execution to deliver outstanding resultsWhat you'll bring to the table as a Carpenter:Proven carpentry experience, ideally in outdoor construction, decking, pergolas, or similar projectsDeep understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materialsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawingsStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead confidently on job sitesHigh attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanshipExcellent communication and organizational skillsDedication to maintaining a safe and efficient work environmentProficiency with carpentry tools and proper maintenance practicesAbility to manage time and adapt in a fast-paced, weather-dependent environmentPhysical Requirements:Lift, carry, and move materials such as wood, tools, and equipment, often up to 50 pounds or moreFrequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing as required on job sitesStanding and walking for extended periodsManual dexterity to operate tools and equipment safely and preciselyAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions including heat, cold, and rainPerform repetitive motions such as cutting, sanding, and assembling materialsWork in confined spaces and at elevated heights when necessaryMaintain stamina and endurance to meet the physical demands of the job and project timelinesWhat we'll do for you:Join a challenging yet rewarding career with Lowney's Landscaping, where you'll work alongside a dedicated and hardworking team.
