Branch Operations Manager

Branch Operations ManagerWorldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, is looking for a Branch Operations Manager to be responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the Branch, including the management of assets. The Branch Operations Manager will be responsible for interviewing, hiring and training new team members; conducting performance appraisals, team member counseling and disciplinary actions, addressing complaints and resolving problems when possible. The Branch Operations Manager will communicate regularly with the Regional Operations Manager, and Human Resources when needed. The Branch Operations Manager will instill and maintain a customer service-oriented philosophy in all conduct to self and other team members. The Branch Operations Manager will prepare and submit annual operational budget for approval and develop plans for the efficient use of resources. The Branch Operations Manager will participate in planning personnel safety, ensure safety procedures are followed and make recommendations regarding safety issues. The Branch Operations Manager will coordinate with customers and Branch management team to evaluate, promote and provide improved and expanded services in the area. The Branch Operations Manager will use vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner. Other duties may be assigned.The Branch Operations Manager must have at least 4 years of prior leadership experience in a warehouse-related field. The Branch Operations Manager must have at least 1 year of cash handling experience. The Branch Operations Manager must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently. The Branch Operations Manager must be eligible to work in the country in which you are applying for. The Branch Operations Manager must be available to open and close the warehouse, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays (as needed). The Branch Operations Manager must meet all applicable state/province-specific driver's license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle to perform delivery duties. The Branch Operations Manager must have strong leadership and organizational skills. The Branch Operations Manager must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and capability of working effectively with others. The Branch Operations Manager must be able to read and write comprehensive detailed instructions, correspondence and memos. The Branch Operations Manager must be proficient in basic math skills. The Branch Operations Manager must be detail-oriented and strong prioritization skills. The Branch Operations Manager must have supervisory and time management skills. The Branch Operations Manager must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. The Branch Operations Manager must be comfortable with all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel). The Branch Operations Manager must be extremely organized and demonstrate the ability to prioritize effectively. The Branch Operations Manager must understand staffing requirements. The Branch Operations Manager must have a broad understanding of multiple department functions. The Branch Operations Manager must have excellent multitasking ability. The Branch Operations Manager must be willing to continue to evolve and develop personal skills to meet the changing environment. The Branch Operations Manager must be a demonstrated self-starter and motivated individual. The Branch Operations Manager must be able to challenge upwards – respectful pushback. The Branch Operations Manager must be willing to learn new skills and gain knowledge about all aspects of the Branch operations. The Branch Operations Manager must understand P&L. The Branch Operations Manager must be willing to get powered equipment certification.While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and listen. The team member is frequently required to stoop, kneel, and crouch and occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance. The team member must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Generally, we look to bring in candidates around the 50th percentile of the advertised range. However, this is never a guarantee. Within the range, individual pay will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
