Healthcare Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Healthcare Associate Attorney to join their Revenue Cycle and Managed Care practice in South Miami, FL. The successful candidate will assist non-profit hospital systems in obtaining fair compensation from health insurance companies. Duties Analyze contracts and medical claims to identify recovery opportunities. Draft and manage administrative appeals and demand letters for complex hospital claim denials. Perform legal research on healthcare reimbursement and regulatory issues. Manage a high volume of active matters against competing deadlines. Requirements Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects. Comfortable working in Excel, Salesforce, and hospital platforms like Epic and Cerner. Demonstrated interest in health law or the healthcare industry. Education J.D. and admission to the Florida Bar. Certifications Admission to the Florida Bar. Skills Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance rules is a plus.
