This facility is a large hospital operating as part of a large medical group, providing dedicated radiation oncology services within a structured outpatient clinic environment. The facility maintains established clinical protocols and appropriate on-site resources to support coordinated oncology patient management throughout the coverage period. On-site support includes an additional radiation oncologist and full support staff to facilitate quality care delivery.

The assignment area offers clinicians access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Highlands Hammock State Park, a 9,000-acre preserve, features nine trails, a three-mile bike loop, and tram service, while access to over 100 lakes provides opportunities for fishing, boating, and airboat tours. Historic Downtown Sebring, known as 'The City on the Circle,' features a circular design with local dining and boutique options, and families will find additional activities ranging from the Children's Museum of the Highlands and gem mining at the Lost Mines of Atlantis to waterfront parks such as Veterans Beach on Lake Jackson.

The radiation oncologist will provide clinic-based outpatient radiation oncology services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no call requirements. Clinical responsibilities include supervising radiation treatments, conducting weekly on-treatment visits, and managing any clinical issues or emergencies that arise, with an expected patient volume of 25-30 patients on treatment per day. Treatment modalities include 3D conformal, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, and electrons, with all clinical documentation to be completed through EPIC EMR. Board certification in Radiation Oncology, prescriptive authority, and an active state medical license are required; credentialing is estimated at 30-60 days and may be expedited for locum tenens clinicians.
