Senior Staff Accountant

Manage day-to-day general accounting activities and provide financial analysis and guidance in accordance with US GAAP, governmental regulations, and organizational accounting policies. Perform monthly close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, supporting schedules, and financial analysis. Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports, including budget and historical trend comparisons. Monitor and maintain internal controls while supporting accounting policies, procedures, and process improvements. Prepare ad hoc financial reports, analyses, estimates, and risk assessments; provide recommendations for issue resolution. Support internal and external audits by responding to requests, researching accounting matters, and providing required documentation. Partner with Financial Planning, Financial Reporting, Tax, Supply Chain, Legal, Human Resources, and Information Technology teams on financial and operational matters. Assist with development and implementation of accounting systems, policies, procedures, and continuous process improvements. Ensure accurate and timely financial and statistical reporting in accordance with US GAAP and regulatory requirements. Working Conditions May require evening/weekend hours during month-end, quarterly, and annual reporting periods.
