Core Care Medical Services is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in Baltimore, Maryland. Work Environment

As a full-time Physician Assistant at our surgical center in Baltimore, you will work Monday to Friday, with evening shifts starting at 5:00 PM, contributing to a 40-hour workweek. Our facility is designed to promote a patient-focused, efficient, and safe environment, allowing healthcare professionals to deliver urgent care services seamlessly. The Surgical Center is well-organized, ensuring that PA staff have unfettered access to the resources needed to provide excellent care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations, accurately documenting medical histories and reviewing existing medical records.
• Order and analyze diagnostic tests, interpreting results from blood work and imaging studies such as X-rays to inform clinical decisions.
• Diagnose and treat various acute and chronic health conditions, formulating evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Prescribe medications while monitoring their effectiveness and adjusting as necessary to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for ongoing patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive health practices to empower them in their care.
• Promote good health practices, working alongside interdisciplinary teams to support the overall well-being of our patient population.
• Engage in professional development activities to stay current with medical practices and innovations in the field.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field; a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred.
• A valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and DEA number are required.

• Proficiency in interpreting healthcare regulations and quality assurance standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on empathy and patient engagement.

The role offers a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, dependent on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
