- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild equipment across LP, gas, diesel, and electric systems, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, steering, electrical, drive, and lifting systems.
- Keep equipment performing safely and reliably through preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, failure analysis, component repairs, and basic welding.
- Put safety first on every job by following proper equipment procedures, Briggs safety standards, and applicable DOT, OSHA, federal, state, and local requirements.
- Support customers and your team by maintaining accurate service records, managing needed parts and supplies, completing technical training, and serving as a trusted resource for fellow technicians and Service leadership.
- 5+ years of forklift repair or related industry experience , with strong mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, troubleshooting skills, and a solid understanding of material handling equipment.
- Experience using precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, along with the ability to furnish your own tools, perform frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, and twisting, and safely lift up to 75 pounds.
