We are currently seeking an Senior Accountant.

Job description:

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support a growing, long-term healthcare organization. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning critical accounting processes, multi-facility responsibility, and contributing to a team approach with the mission for continuous improvement in financial reporting accuracy and timeliness.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, financial analysis, and process improvement, working closely with the Accounting Team.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Internal Controls

· Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for multiple locations

· Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules

· Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with GAAP

· Support timely and accurate reporting for executive leadership

· Maintain intercompany accounting and eliminations

· Support annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests

· Support day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger oversight

· Assist with monthly accounting, accruals, and reconciliations

· Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal and multi-state requirements

· Support documentation and compliance related to audits.

Qualifications Required

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

· 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

· Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls

· Experience with multi-state operations, payroll accounting, or commissions

· Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct preferred

· Experience long-term healthcare field preferred
