Position Summary


The Senior Accountant is a key member of the corporate accounting team and is responsible for supporting the monthly close process, preparing and reviewing account reconciliations, maintaining fixed asset and lease accounting records, and assisting with the continued development of accounting processes and internal controls. Reporting to the Corporate Accounting Manager, this role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting activities and provides an opportunity to contribute to the growth and maturation of the accounting function.


The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and working in a fast-paced environment. This individual will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Company's financial records while supporting audit, reporting, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.

• CPA certification preferred.

• 3+ years of accounting experience, including public accounting and/or corporate accounting experience.

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement reporting.

• Experience with account reconciliations, month-end close processes, and general ledger accounting.

• Experience with fixed asset accounting and lease accounting experience preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems.

• Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn and grow professionally.

• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification.

• Public accounting experience (audit experience preferred).

• Experience with manufacturing companies.

• Experience with lease accounting under ASC 842.

• Experience supporting external audits and internal control environments.

• Experience in a high-growth or evolving organization.
