Senior Staff Accountant

Senior Staff Accountant LHH is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant for a highly respected organization near St. Louis Park, MN. This mid level accounting role will help support month end close, financial analysis, reporting, process improvement and report to a fantastic and experience mentor. The ideal candidate will have exposure to full cycle accounting and be looking to add to their skillset and growth with a company they could stay at and continue to grow in their career. Responsibilities Prepare and analyze monthly balance sheets, income statements, and P&L reports Perform month‑end close , including journal entries and account reconciliations Maintain general ledger and supporting financial records Review financial results, investigate variances, and identify trends Support budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting Manage accruals (monthly, quarterly, annual) Assist with audits, internal requests, and ad‑hoc analysis Participate in capital accounting, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations Partner with internal stakeholders across finance, operations, and leadership Experience 2-5 years experience Skills Analytical and research skills Employment Type Full time, Direct Hire, Hybrid Salary $65,000-$85,000 Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
