Project Manager

Job Description The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of client programs and projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role serves as the single point of accountability for project execution, taking full ownership of outcomes and driving actions across stakeholders to ensure delivery success. The Project Manager leads planning, drives execution, manages risks and dependencies, and ensures clear communication and alignment across all stakeholders. This role is expected to proactively lead delivery by facilitating decisions, resolving issues, and ensuring accountability across teams. The role also supports the consistency and maturity of the PMO by applying standard practices and identifying opportunities to improve delivery processes and outcomes. Basic Job Function Lead end-to-end delivery of client projects, ensuring alignment to scope, timeline, budget, and defined outcomes. Own project execution from initiation through completion, driving coordination and accountability across all stakeholders. Develop and manage integrated project plans to support effective execution and cross-functional alignment. Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery. Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle. Contribute to ongoing improvement of delivery practices, tools, and team effectiveness.. Accountabilities Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management Manage client and stakeholder relationships, ensuring consistent communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Gather and clarify business and technical requirements, managing expectations and scope. Establish trust through transparency, consistency, and accountability. Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure clear, structured, and outcome-focused communication that drives alignment, decision-making, and shared accountability. Project Delivery & Execution Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project plans, ensuring alignment across all workstreams, dependencies, and stakeholders. Drive execution across workstreams, proactively addressing risks, issues, dependencies, and decision bottlenecks before they impact delivery. Manage scope, schedule, and cost using defined governance and tools. Ensure project goals, deliverables, and defined business outcomes/client value are successfully achieved—not just completed. Actively manage risks, issues, and dependencies with clear ownership, mitigation plans, and timely resolution. Delivery Leadership & PMO Contribution Apply consistent delivery practices using standard tools, templates, and methodologies. Identify and implement improvements to delivery processes, tools, and team effectiveness, while sharing lessons learned and best practices. Support a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement within and across teams. Model strong delivery leadership, communication, and professionalism. Functional & Product Understanding Develop working knowledge of LexisNexis Risk Solutions products and their application. Use this knowledge to support discussions, validate requirements, and ensure alignment to client needs. Partner with Professional Services, Sales, Product, and Support to align design, scope, and delivery. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Related Major, Project/Program Management, Computer Science, Information technology or equivalent. Industry Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience in project or program management. Experience in Financial Crime Compliance, risk, or financial services industries is preferred; exposure to pre- and/or post-sales environments is a plus. Communication & Presentation Skills: Must have strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver client-facing presentations. Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior stakeholders Relationship Building & Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to drive alignment, influence without authority, and ensure accountability across cross-functional teams. Problem Solving / Judgment: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to solve complex business challenges, navigate ambiguity, and make sound decisions. Results Orientation & Ownership: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple competing demands. Highly self-motivated. Ability to balance structured methodology with practical flexibility based on project needs. Product & Functional Knowledge: Aptitude to quickly understand and articulate LexisNexis Risk Solutions product set and its application within client environments. Ability to connect product capabilities to business outcomes and delivery execution. Travel: Ability to travel on occasion. Technical & Tools Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams required. Experience with workflow diagramming tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, SmartDraw). Basic understanding of APIs, data formats (XML, JSON, CSV), and technical delivery concepts is needed for effective client and team engagement. Familiarity with delivery/collaboration tools (e.g., AdaptiveWork, JIRA, SharePoint) is a plus. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $78,800 - $131,300. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. This job is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
