Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract-to-hire opportunity allows you to leverage your expertise and passion for helping students thrive both academically and personally. Work closely with a manageable caseload of 29 students, allocating approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility to provide up to 20 hours as needed. Compensation begins at $49 per hour, with potential increases based on your experience.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an SLP in Illinois
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Prior experience in a school setting, or passionate interest in working with school-aged children
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students on your caseload
• Deliver evidence-based speech, language, and communication therapy services
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student progress
• Maintain timely documentation, progress reports, and compliance with school guidelines
• Contribute to IEP meetings and support school-wide initiatives related to student communication needs
