Weekend Front Desk for Luxury Condo

Job Summary Compensation: 19.50 USD hourly. Shift: Saturday & Sunday, 3 pm to 11 pm. Pay range: $18.50–$20.00 per hour based on experience. The Front Desk Agent must perform all desk attendant functions, including checking guests and vendors in and out, and operating the switchboard. Essential Functions Provide administrative, reception, and program support to management and staff. Manage phone activity and provide general information to callers. Manage walk‑in traffic, sign in customers, and greet them warmly. Register and assign rooms to guests. Provide quotes for room rates and upsell when possible. Assist in coordinating the Front Desk and Housekeeping Department. Verify charges and credits are properly posted; collect payment for guest folio charges. Ensure cash and cash equivalents are accounted for and balanced at start and end of shift. Respond to guest inquiries. Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority or refer to management. Maintain awareness of safety issues and report immediately to manager. Skill and Knowledge Requirements High School Diploma preferred; minimum 16 years of age. Clerical skills: typing, filing, office machine operation, cash register operation, records maintenance, multitasking. Computer proficiency. Demonstrated ability to interact with diverse people, organize priorities, learn new skills, and problem‑solve. Ability to arrange and coordinate reservation schedules. Excellent interpersonal, administrative, telephone, and communication skills. Physical and Mental Requirements Move on foot to accomplish tasks, frequent movements within unit. Bend, lift, carry, and reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently; lift up to 25 lbs regularly, 30–35 lbs frequently, up to 50 lbs occasionally. Stand for entire work day; climb steps regularly. Sit at desk and monitor phones for extended periods. Tolerate indoor and outdoor temperatures. Read and write work‑related documents in English. Use speech recognition and clarity; understand and be understood in English. Communicate with other employees in fast‑paced environment. Physical presence at the job site is essential. Equipment Used Typical office equipment (computers, phone system, fax, copiers, scanners). Reservations system and POS system.
