Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients.
• Provide crisis intervention and consultation as required, including pre-crisis planning and risk assessments.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools to systemically evaluate client progress and inform treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement positive behavior support plans that enhance patient outcomes.
• Engage in and contribute to licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Act as a liaison with community partners, state agencies, and other service systems, maintaining effective communication channels.
• Participate actively in community outreach and education to promote awareness of mental health initiatives and resources.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities including attending workshops and conferences to refine skills and knowledge.
• Support the overall mission and values of the organization by promoting wellness principles across all aspects of care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the clinic's vision.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LMHC at our clinic, you will serve a diverse population of clients including individuals battling substance abuse issues, those experiencing stress, anxiety, or depression, and clients with developmental disabilities. Your work will focus on creating safe therapeutic spaces to facilitate healing and recovery, empowering clients to engage actively in their treatment journey and achieve life satisfaction.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is required for this position.
• Must possess an independent LMHC license issued by the state board of Washington.
• Strong writing and documentation skills are necessary for maintaining clinical records and compliance.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team, showing collaboration and respect for differing professional perspectives.
• Effective communication skills for articulating ideas and treatment strategies clearly and empathetically.
• Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities rooted in professional knowledge, ensuring timely and appropriate clinical responses.

Preferred Experience

• Previous work in community health settings or with diverse client populations.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 86,000 to 103,000, commensurate with experience. Our benefits package includes:
