Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Behavioral Health/Psych night shift opportunity in Janesville, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for an RN who can provide compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting behavioral health patients through assessment, medication administration, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Behavioral Health/Psych night shift opportunity in Janesville, Wisconsin. This role is ideal for an RN who can provide compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting behavioral health patients through assessment, medication administration, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for adult behavioral health/psychiatric patients
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely
- Develop and follow individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC
- Participate in unit performance improvement activities as needed
- Apply critical thinking to support patient safety and escalate concerns appropriately
- Active Wisconsin or multi-state Registered Nurse license required
- Nursing degree required; education verification required
- BLS/BCLS required
- Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Nursing experience preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and patient safety skills required
- Must be able to work night shifts, every other weekend, and holiday coverage as needed
