You will work across CT and MRI environments, partnering closely with physicians and technologists to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care delivery. On an average day, you will:Prepare patients for procedures, including assessment, intake, and educationPerform sedation administration and continuous intra-procedural monitoringSupport a variety of image-guided procedures such as biopsies, aspirations, and drain placementsMonitor patients undergoing advanced imaging, including cardiac MRI and pacemaker casesAssist with MRI sedation workflows and CT imaging needs, including port access and patient coordinationProvide pre-procedure communication and post-procedure recovery monitoringEscort patients through different phases of care, ensuring safety and a seamless experienceCollaborate closely with physicians, technologists, and fellow nurses in a fast-moving yet supportive environmentThis role offers variety and clinical depth, with no two days alike. Bachelor of Science in Nursing required within 5 years of hire. Experience: 1 year of relevant experience. Licensure: Licensed to Practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling, bending/stooping. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 20 - 50lbs. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay range for this role is $39.90 - $53.00 hourly.
