Location: Remote (California Preferred)
Position Type: Contract - W2
Pay Rate: $63/hr – $73/hr on W2
Duration: 3 Months (Possible extension based on business needs)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and analytically driven SEO professional to lead and evolve enterprise organic search initiatives. This role combines strategic SEO leadership, technical optimization, content strategy, and emerging AI-powered search practices to drive measurable growth in search visibility and business outcomes.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive expertise across traditional SEO disciplines and emerging AI-driven search optimization, including Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). This individual will work cross-functionally with content, web, product marketing, and engineering teams to ensure content is discoverable and optimized across both conventional search engines and AI-powered search environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute enterprise SEO strategies aligned with business goals
- Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and SEO opportunity assessments
- Drive content optimization to improve rankings, traffic, and conversions
- Lead AI Search initiatives including AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)
- Manage technical SEO activities including crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, schema markup, and site architecture
- Partner with content, web, product marketing, and engineering teams
- Perform SEO audits, reporting, and provide actionable recommendations
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of SEO experience with expertise in Enterprise & Technical SEO
- Experience driving SEO growth in B2B or enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with AEO, GEO, and AI-powered search ecosystems
- Strong knowledge of Core Web Vitals, structured data, crawl management, and site architecture
- Experience with Google Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog
- Proficiency in Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Preferred:
- Experience in B2B technology/cybersecurity environments
- Experience with AEM, Headless CMS, multilingual SEO, CRO, and global SEO initiatives
