Ivy & Ale is looking for a strong back of house hire to help with prep, line cooking, daily kitchen execution, and service execution. This is not a dead-end kitchen job, and it is not the right fit for someone looking to drift in and out without ownership.

We cook real food here. Everything is from scratch, and we care about what we put on the plate. We operate on positivity, trust, accountability, and consistency. I’m looking for someone who wants to take pride in what they do, earn real responsibility, and grow into leadership in a meaningful way as we continue to build.

We are growing. With another restaurant opening and another one planned in the coming years, this position has real upside for the right person. I need someone who is serious, dependable, intentional, and ready to become part of something bigger than just showing up for a shift.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prep ingredients for service with consistency, urgency, and attention to detail
• Execute food during service with cleanliness, organization, and pride
• Maintain your station and take ownership of your responsibilities
• Help keep the kitchen clean, stocked, and ready to move
• Follow systems, recipes, standards, and direction with consistency
• Communicate clearly and work as part of a tight team
• Continue learning and growing into a stronger kitchen presence over time

Non-Negotiables

• No substance use at work
• No room for substance abuse outside of work

• No carelessness with food, cleanliness, or team trust
• No entitlement without earned responsibility

Preferred Experience

• Prep cook, line cook, or back of house experience is preferred
• Scratch kitchen experience is a plus
• Strong work ethic matters more than a long résumé
• Leadership potential matters more than polished interview talk
