RPh on the Go is seeking a Verification Pharmacist for an exciting temp-to-perm opportunity with a growing pharmacy team in Texas. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the clinical accuracy, safety, and regulatory compliance of compounded medications prior to dispensing.

Schedule

Monday through Friday
9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Weekends as needed

Responsibilities
Perform final pharmacist verification of compounded prescriptions before dispensing.
Review prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, dosage accuracy, patient information, drug interactions, formulation integrity, and labeling requirements.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
Collaborate with sterile and non-sterile compounding technicians to maintain workflow efficiency and quality standards.
Investigate and resolve prescription discrepancies, formulation questions, documentation concerns, and medication-related issues.
Provide guidance and mentorship to pharmacy technicians regarding prescription processing, compliance requirements, and quality assurance standards.

Requirements
Active and clear Texas Pharmacist License.
Minimum of 1 year of pharmacist experience.
Previous experience in a closed-door pharmacy or compounding environment preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality.

Duration: 13-week temp-to-perm
