Location: Mechanicsville, VA (with local travel to meet new and existing clients)

Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance is looking for a driven, community-rooted Insurance Sales Agent for our Mechanicsville office. You’ll help local families, farms and businesses protect what matters most to them. Your earnings will grow with the relationships you build.

Your Earning Potential: No Ceiling

Average First-Year Total Compensation $52,000 – $125,000 (inclusive of base salary) Base Salary $37,000 – $52,000 (dependent upon location and established book of business)

These are real average first-year earnings across our agency network. Total compensation includes base salary, commissions and performance-based earnings, so how much you make depends on your effort and the relationships you build with members. There is no cap on what you can earn.

What We’re Looking For

• Property & Casualty and Life, Health & Annuities licenses. Not licensed yet? No problem. We provide and pay for your licensing training materials and class.
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good time management and the ability to work independently
• A goal-oriented, driven-to-succeed mindset
• Prior sales experience (any industry) is helpful but not required
