Security Account Executive

What you will do Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, building relationships and closing new business while ensuring customer retention. Serve as the Johnson Controls Security brand steward, telling the brand story and demonstrating that it is the leading electronic security provider. Secure profitable sales and upgrades to new, existing, and discontinued Johnson Controls Security commercial customers, improving customer satisfaction and retention by initiating post‑installation follow‑ups. Maintain a commanding knowledge of the product line and the services offered. How you will do it Adhere to current Johnson Controls Security policies, procedures, products, programs and services. Create new market share by selling products and services to new local commercial customers. Sell additional products and services to existing accounts that present new sales opportunities. Sell add‑ons, amend, and convert existing customer systems to meet the customers' expectations. Renew existing customer agreements. Identify prospects using creative lead‑generating techniques and build productive relationships with existing customers. Independently establish call plans and customer follow‑up strategies, applying time and territory management techniques consistently. Follow up with prospects, maintaining an in‑depth knowledge of the product line and customer needs through training and research. Obtain referrals and work with centers of influence. Process work orders and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved procedures. Conduct post‑installation follow‑up by contacting customers to ensure commitments were met and confirm customer satisfaction. What we look for High‑school diploma or equivalent required. Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior‑level executives. Ability to work a full‑time schedule, available for local travel. College degree preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT, or other technology sales industry, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quota. HIRING SALARY RANGE $46,000–70,000 (salary to be determined by education, experience, skills, and market data). The role also offers a competitive sales incentive plan based on volume, margin, quarterly and annual performance. A competitive benefits package is included.
