About the Role
We're looking for a Mainframe Application Developer who thrives in a dynamic technology landscape and enjoys designing innovative solutions that drive business impact.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performing applications across diverse system environments.
• Translate business needs, functional specifications, and user requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Leverage multiple technologies and platforms to create efficient, reliable, and future-ready application architectures.
• Take ownership of both application development and the supporting application environment.
• Work across the full technology stack-front end, middleware, and back-end components-ensuring seamless integration and performance.
• Analyze emerging tools and technologies, lead evaluation initiatives, and recommend the best-fit solutions for business needs.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Contribute to the modernization and optimization of enterprise systems running across mainframe and distributed environments.

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience in application design, development, testing, and support.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and system integration.
• Hands-on experience working across multiple computing platforms, including mainframe, mini, and microenvironments.
• Proven ability to assess, evaluate, and implement technology solutions and development tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating with product vendors and third-party technology providers.

Must-Have Technical Skills

• Mainframe Technologies: COBOL, DB2
  Strong understanding of enterprise application development and support
  Experience in multi-tier application environments and system integration

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $80.00 - $84.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
