This well-established hospital features a dedicated Family Birthing Center with its own operating room for cesarean sections. The facility provides comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services with strong support staff including anesthesiologists, general surgeons, local OB/GYNs, family medicine physicians, pediatricians, and experienced respiratory therapists.

Job Details:
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic services in hospital setting with dedicated Family Birthing Center
Handle deliveries averaging 25-40 per month with full cesarean section capabilities
Provide emergency department call coverage for OB/GYN related issues
Work 24-hour call shifts from 8am to 8am including weekend coverage
Must be Board Certified in OB/GYN or Board Eligible within 5 years
Current California medical license and DEA registration required during credentialing
Demonstration of at least 100 gynecological surgical procedures in past two years required
Minimum 10-day credentialing timeframe from completed application
Proctoring required including observation of first two non-emergency deliveries and first three GYN cases
Self-Query NPDB report mandatory within 30 days of presentation
EMR system: Cerner
Coverage needed for cancellation and maternity leave with urgent dates in 2026

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
