Job Duties

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and comprehensive medical history reviews.
• Support the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions via interpretation of imaging and lab results.
• Work in tandem with surgeons to design and implement tailored surgical treatment plans.
• Provide crucial intraoperative assistance prep the surgery suite, ensure optimal patient positioning, and adeptly handle surgical instruments.
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound care management, discharge planning, and patient education.

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Completion of clinical rotations with a strong emphasis on surgical practices is highly preferred.

Certifications Needed

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• Required certifications in BLS and ACLS.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
