Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:To ensure your regional office is providing its customers with an exceptional, top shelf laundry service product (service, support and response) that is second to none in our industry. To ensure all Jetz employees are bought in, trained and appreciated for their contribution to the overall health and upward trajectory of our company.They are expected to conduct themselves and all actions of their office at all times with absolute integrity, respect, meticulous attention to detail, compliance, be coachable, accountable, approachable, enthusiastic and always maintain a professional demeanor and appearance.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESAdvise customers of necessary repair service including estimates of cost; also makes recommendations to customers for preventative maintenance.Handles customer complaint problems pertaining to service and repair work.Supervises the training of service technicians with in-house training programs.Maintains all service tools and service vehicles in good condition.Responsible for keeping shop area clean.Responsible for the safety of service technicians and maintaining a safe working environment in the shop area and reporting all accidents to Human Resources immediately.Maintaining adequate supplies and parts for service department inventory.Make sure warranty claims are processed and forwarded to supplier.Help service personnel diagnose and resolve difficult service issues.Responsible for issuing purchase orders for the service department.Make sure job tickets are properly punched in and out on time clockSee that job tickets are promptly charged out, both customer and internal.Responsible for the personnel under his management, i.e., authorizing time off, managing excessive sick leave and attendance.Monthly inspection of vehicles assigned to subordinates.All other duties as assigned including all responsibilities of a Service Technician.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have above average mechanical, problem solving, and oral and written communication skills.A Manager must have the discipline to work with little supervision and ability to handle several projects simultaneously.Computer experience including the use of e-mail, internet, ability to navigate a parts lookup software package and general ability to read diagrams.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe individual must be able to lift machines, with a dolly, weight of 40-70 pounds and be able to stand/sit for most of an eight-hour shift.Position requires frequent lifting, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and driving.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.THIS IS NOT A DESK JOB.\nCompany DescriptionJetz specializes in supplying top of the line Coin/Card Operated computerized laundry equipment, as well as in-unit domestic laundry equipment to multi-family apartment buildings, condominium buildings, senior citizen communities, college student housing, hotels, motels, trucking plazas, campgrounds and resorts.Company DescriptionJetz specializes in supplying top of the line Coin/Card Operated computerized laundry equipment, as well as in-unit domestic laundry equipment to multi-family apartment buildings, condominium buildings, senior citizen communities, college student housing, hotels, motels, trucking plazas, campgrounds and resorts.
