About the Role:
American Drilling and Sawing Inc is looking for a skilled Slab Saw Operator and Core Driller to join our team in Houston, TX! This is a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge concrete cutting equipment on exciting commercial and industrial projects. If you take pride in precision work and thrive in a fast-paced field environment, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Operate slab saws and core drilling equipment safely and efficiently on job sites
- Perform concrete cutting, core drilling, and slab sawing according to project specifications
- Set up, inspect, and maintain equipment before and after each use
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company safety protocols on every job
- Coordinate with crew members and supervisors to complete projects on schedule
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues in the field
- Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating slab saws, core drills, or similar concrete cutting equipment preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or project layout markings
- Strong understanding of job site safety practices and PPE requirements
- Physically able to lift heavy equipment and work in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license with a reliable driving record
- Dependable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Willingness to travel to various job sites throughout the Houston area
