Job Description: Join Our Team as an Accounts Payable Clerk and Start Your Career with Webber Inspiring Career Opportunity The Accounts Payable clerk processes payables for material purchased on terms for company operation. What You Will Do: Enter, file, and maintain Accounts Payable invoices Process invoices for payment Maintain and file vendor contracts Review material and quantities of invoices for unusual activity Verify approval by field via job number and cost code Review materials to determine they are taxable. Follow policy to copy invoices that require tax Process taxable invoices for vendor to review Process check requests for field locations Process capital leases Maintain a highly organized work area and manage multiple projects simultaneously Write reports, business correspondence, and project documents Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals Other unlisted duties will be assigned Who You Are: A Profile of Success High school diploma or general education degree (GED) One (1) or more years of experience within the last two (2) years as an Accounts Payable Clerk Be able to communicate in English via verbal and written communications Moderate to high level of computer skills in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Valid driver license for occasional, required travel Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily administrative nature.
