About the Position

# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Neuro Med/Surg – Nashville, Tennessee**Start Date:** August 10, 2026 **Location:** Nashville, Tennessee **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 3 twelve-hour shifts per week; 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4-week schedule**Highlights:** - 20-bed Neuro Medical/Surgical unit with 6:1 patient ratios- Work at an ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center with Certified Chest Pain Center accreditation- Tech support available on day and night shifts; unit secretary coverage from 7am to 7pm- Modern equipment including IV pumps, telemetry, continuous pulse oximetry, feeding pumps, PCA, and iMobile communication technology- Meditech electronic medical record system- Contract staff floats first in rotation, ensuring scheduling consistency**Requirements:** - Active RN license- Current BLS certification- Med/Surg experience required- Proficiency in IV starts, basic wound care, and maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes- Strong ability to prioritize care and multitask in a fast-paced environment- Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) required**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity neurological and medical/surgical environment within a facility recognized for excellence in stroke, trauma, and cardiac care.
