Mammography Cross Training Technologist - Great Opportunity for X-Ray Technologists!

Job Overview AMI is offering a Cross Training opportunity for Radiologic Technologists interested in Mammography. The robust cross‑training program will prepare you for the next step of your career, allowing you to train in Mammography and prepare for the ARRT Mammography boards. Recent or upcoming X‑Ray graduates are also welcome to apply. Responsibilities Performs mammography examinations according to the technical standards established by the radiology department. Utilizes instructional information and methods as established by the management. Provides for the safety, health and well‑being of all patients, visitors and co‑workers, and is ready to respond to emergency codes and life safety practices established by the Practice. Performs all other related duties as assigned to ensure that optimum radiologic care, efficient and orderly flow of patients and safe, expedient office operation occur daily. Provides informal supervision and instructional advice to non‑technical personnel assigned to the work area. Utilizes all departmental clerical equipment, including computerized information system and copy machines, to ensure that all required office record keeping and documentation is accurate, timely and accessible. Offers X‑Ray coverage during cross training and after completion of cross training as needed. Qualifications Completed an accredited Radiology School program. Registered or registry‑eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography, with a current or upcoming X‑Ray Technologist license in the State of NJ. American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross BLS certification required prior to start of employment. Full knowledge of all aspects of radiation protection. Willingness to complete the Mammography Cross Training program and successfully complete the ARRT Mammography boards. Dexa training will also be provided. Schedule & Location This full‑time, 40‑hour per week position is based in the AMI offices in Vineland, Bridgeton, Sicklerville, Woolwich, and Deptford. The work schedule includes varying eight (8)‑hour shifts Monday‑Friday, between 7am‑8pm. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs. Compensation & Benefits AMI offers a salary range of $33.00 – $42.00 per hour, increasing based on years of work experience.
