Network Engineer

Job Description We are seeking a Network Engineer with an active Top Secret clearance to join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. This role requires deep expertise in network design, architecture, and operations, along with the ability to operate effectively in a mission-driven environment. This is a full-time, on-site position located near Quantico, VA. The work location is expected to transition to Huntsville, AL in December 2027. Remote work is not available. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain Local Area Networks (LAN) and Wide Area Networks (WAN) in support of mission requirements Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders Develop and deliver briefings, technical presentations, and documentation to government personnel Qualifications Clearance Current TS will be required to undergo a CI poly upon hire. Skills & Qualifications Must have knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching, and network architecture planning Must have knowledge of remote administration and secure Virtual Private Networking Must understand commercial encryption standards and their application in IP networking Must have knowledge of VPN technologies, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IP Multicasting Must have strong written and oral communication skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently as well as within small and large groups Familiarity GEMONE Taclane encryption management Cisco Firepower Cisco ISE DNA Center Desired Skills An ability to navigate and configure Linux operating systems An understanding of wired data transport mediums to include Category 5e/6 and fiber optics.
