Sr. Billing Analyst

Job Description We are seeking a Sr. Billing Analyst to join our team in Austin, Texas. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Sr. Billing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the entire billing process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. You will also collaborate with the finance and accounting teams, assist with closing processes, and provide support to junior staff as needed. Responsibilities Oversee the entire billing process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing. Generate and review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with contracts. Handle billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner. Maintain detailed records of all billing transactions and update customer accounts as needed. Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to ensure proper revenue recognition. Prepare and analyze billing reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to billing. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations. Provide training and support to junior billing staff as needed. Continuously review and improve billing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Qualifications and Skills Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes. Experience with Bank Reconciliations. Knowledge of General Ledger management. Ability to prepare and analyze Journal Entries. Familiarity with Month End Close procedures. Expertise in using financial software such as NetSuite and Oracle. Proficiency in Billing processes. Experience with Intercompany Transaction management. Competency in performing Reconciliations. Understanding of ASC 606 and its application. Knowledge of Revenue Recognition principles. Experience in managing Deferred Revenue. Understanding of Company Revenue Recognition policies. #J-18808-Ljbffr
